We have seen this one in Action (Excuse the Pun) Very impressive.
Just dial in the desired temperature. The digital display takes out any guesswork. Switch the display to read the actual temperature and you know for sure when it's up to temp.
  Heats up quickly, locking the temperature takes only a few seconds. Not much longer to re calibrate to factory settings.
Let's say you find the optimum temperature setting for a soldering job. If the assembler thinks it takes too long, what does he do? Cranks up the temperature. Yes, we probably would too. Just set the temperature to the optimum and LOCK IT.
Now the tip needs to be changed for a different part of the job.
Switch the tip, RE-CALIBRATE for the tip, set to optimum temperature, and LOCK IT.
Ever in a rush to leave on Friday? Or any day for that matter. We do. Computer shut off, coffee pot, lights and we are outta there. Never seem to remember the soldering station. Now if I had one of these...we wouldn't have too. AUTO SHUT OFF! Get them while they're hot.
