halogen and dioxine free flame retardant heat-shrinkable tubing is universally applied for the insulation of connections or for the end-handling of electric wire, for the insulation of soldered points on resistors and capacitors, for the identification and encapsulation of electric wire, for the corrosion-proofing of metallic rods or tubes and for the protection of antennas. Heat-shrinkable tubes are used for the corrosion-proof and waterproof connection of fiber optic cable.

Shrinks to approximately 50% of the original size for a skin tight fit.
Simply cut to size and slide over wire or joint
Heat evenly with a heat gun and the tube shrinks to a skin tight fit.
Available in [dual wall] for water-proofing and greater protection from the elements

Although there are other non-recommended methods, the [Heat Gun] is the Best Method for shrinking this tubing.
DETAIL: 2:1 Shrink Ratio. MIL-I-23053/5, Class 1 & 2 and AMS 3636, AMS 3637 Requirements. Nominal wall thickness is 0.025 inches. UL/CSA certified at 600 volts @ 125C. 135C continuous operation. Recovered wall thickness is proportional to degree of recovery.

Dual Wall Heat Shrink has a Meltable Inner Wall for Waterproofing

Simply cut to size and slide over wire or joint-Specially good for crimp terminals
Heat evenly with a heat gun and the tube shrinks to a skin tight fit.
 After cooling, the tubing is permanent, flexible and waterproof!

Use to water proof wire connections, joints, and insulate.

2:1 Shrink Ratio. Thin-wall tubing with as integral adhesive-lined construction.
Flame-retardant - flexible tubing. Polyolefin lining that has a thin layer of thermoplastic adhesive.
The outer wall is radiation cross-linked and maintains a high flow with excellent adhesion of the inner sealant liner.
Heat: 121˚C / 250˚F for a skin-tight fit
